RedBus, operator fined ₹10,000 for cancelling ticket 17 minutes before departure

The Kangra District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has ordered online ticketing platform RedBus and operator Bharmani Travels to pay ₹10,000 in compensation and litigation costs to a passenger after his confirmed ticket from Palampur to Delhi was cancelled just 17 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
