Himachal Pradesh HC Bans Construction of Buildings Above Six Floors in Solan’s Barog, Kumarhatti

The Himachal Pradesh High Court has banned the construction of buildings higher than six floors in Barog, Kumarhatti, and adjacent areas of Solan district. Responding to a PIL alleging massive illegal construction, hill cutting, and environmental violations, the court has also ordered a high-level probe into the green cover loss.
