Gabru Postponed Several other films starring Sunny Paaji are slated for release this year with preparations already well underway However these plans appear to be facing setbacks Sunny Deol’s film Border 2 is scheduled for release in early 2026. Nevertheless Gabru Lahore 1947 and Ikka are still expected to arrive this year.
Originally plans were in place to release the actor’s second film Gabruin March. However the entire schedule was thrown into disarray following the impact of Dhurendhar 2 Subsequently it was reported that the filmmakers might present their next project in May yet the film has been postponed once again. With the May release plan having fallen through the question now remains when will the film finally be released
Sunny Deol has already completed work on several major action films. One such project is Anthony. He is currently filming for this movie in Goa the details regarding the release of Gabru are expected to become clear once he returns to Mumbai next month. Although the filmmakers had been targeting an May 8th release date for quite some time that plan did not materialize.
There is considerable excitement surrounding Gabru partly due to a cameo appearance by Salman Khan. It has also been revealed that three songs have already been filmed for the movie. The immediate priority now is to determine the next scheduled release date.
A report recently published on a news website revealed that Sunny Deol had once again planned to connect with audiences in May. Gabru was originally slated to hit theaters on May 8th. However, the film Dhurendhar: The Revenge significantly disrupted the release calendar.
Consequently it appears that the Gabru team has also been compelled to alter their release strategy. Earlier rumors suggested that certain action sequences in the film required reshoots however these claims have proven to be unfounded. Dhurendhar 2 has in fact caused the rescheduling of release dates for several other films including Toxic and Bhoot Bangla
It has also been reported that the film’s final cut is nearing completion. The filmmakers are unlikely to face any significant delays in bringing it to theaters. According to reports the cast members are highly pleased with their respective roles and are eager to see the film released as soon as possible. The movie is now expected to be released either by the end of June or during the first week of July.
