Army Acted with Precision, Vigilance, and Sensitivity: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh stated on Wednesday that the Indian Army has made every Indian proud. He said, “The Indian Army acted with precision, vigilance, and sensitivity. The targets we set were destroyed with accuracy, as per the planned timeline, while ensuring no civilian sites were affected, reflecting our army’s sensitivity.”

He further added, “India has exercised its right to respond to attacks on its soil. This action was carried out with careful thought and in a measured manner. Aimed at breaking the morale of terrorists, the operation was strictly limited to their camps and infrastructure.”

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made these remarks during an event marking the 66th Foundation Day of the Border Roads Organisation, where he also inaugurated 50 projects of the organisation.

India has launched ‘Mission Sindoor’ in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, targeting multiple terrorist infrastructures across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The operation was carried out following the April 22 attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists. India holds Pakistan responsible for the attack, a claim that Pakistan has denied.

According to reports, more than 100 people have been killed in the Indian Army’s operation, including family members of notorious terrorist Azhar.
