IndiGo Flight Bomb Threat: A major security scare unfolded on Saturday morning involving an IndiGo flight. The flight, 6E 68, which was coming from Jeddah to Hyderabad, received a bomb threat, sending security agencies into a tizzy.

Here’s what happened: Early Saturday morning, around 5:30 AM, the airline authorities received a disturbing email. The sender claimed that there was a ‘human bomb’ on board the IndiGo flight. The email even warned against allowing the plane to land in Hyderabad.

It went a step further, making a bizarre reference, alleging that operatives from LTTE-ISI were planning an attack similar to the 1984 Madras airport incident. As you can imagine, this email immediately triggered high alert.

Authorities swung into action. The pilots of the Hyderabad-bound flight were notified about the threat mid-air. Following safety protocols, a quick decision was taken to divert the aircraft. Instead of continuing to Hyderabad, the flight was directed to make an emergency landing at the Mumbai airport.

Once the plane landed safely in Mumbai, it was thoroughly inspected by security teams. All passengers and their luggage were screened. After a detailed check, the authorities found nothing suspicious. It turned out to be a hoax threat, and everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
