Himachal Identifies 67 Sensitive Glacial Lakes, Plans Early Warning Systems
Himachal Pradesh has identified 67 sensitive glacial lakes, including several in high-altitude areas. The state is working on early warning systems for four high-risk lakes in Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti, though poor network connectivity remains a major technical challenge.
