Himachal Pradesh Police executed a strategic operation at a combined dhaba and guest house facility situated along the Hamirpur-Una highway. Acting on specific intelligence regarding illegal activities, a joint police team raided the premises on Thursday. The intervention resulted in the immediate rescue of three women who were being exploited within the establishment.
Three Suspects Apprehended During Operation
During the search of the private guest house, law enforcement officials arrested three men found on the premises. Investigating officers recovered several mobile phones and other incriminating materials from the rooms.
The police had been monitoring the facility for several days following multiple complaints from local sources suggesting a functional prostitution racket was operating under the guise of a lodging business.
Investigation Into Guest House Management
Superintendent of Police Sachin Hiremath confirmed that the department had received consistent reports of illicit activities at this specific location. He stated that the role of the guest house operator is currently under intense scrutiny.
If evidence confirms the management’s involvement or negligence, formal charges will be filed against the owner. The rescued women are presently being questioned to gather further evidence against the syndicate.
