PM Modi Budget Quest 2026: The “MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026,” an initiative under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, is scheduled to take place at UIET, Panjab University South Campus, Sector-25, Chandigarh, on April 12 and 13, 2026. This national event follows a series of rigorous evaluations, including an online quiz launched in February and an essay competition held between February 17 and March 3.

A total of 1.2 million youth participated across India in this democratic engagement exercise. From the state of Himachal Pradesh, 262 participants have been selected, including a dedicated cohort of 15 individuals from the Kullu district. The state rank list, which determined the finalists, was officially released on March 10, 2026.

On April 13, these selected participants will join a total of 714 youths from Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Chandigarh for a virtual interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This session serves as the culmination of an effort to integrate the younger generation into the nation’s fiscal and policy-making processes.

The primary objective of the program is to sensitize youth toward the national budget process and enhance their understanding of policy formulation. Through group activities, interactive sessions, and quizzes, the platform allows participants to demonstrate leadership and innovative thinking regarding the country’s economic roadmap.

District Youth Officer of MY Bharat Kullu, Bharti Mongra, confirmed that the initiative aims to empower participants as responsible citizens. She emphasized that such platforms are crucial for fostering active participation in nation-building and urged the youth to align with the “Viksit Bharat @2047” vision through future government engagements.
