Himachal Speeds Up Technical Survey for 1,500 MW Lahaul-Spiti Hydro Project

The Himachal Pradesh government has fast-tracked the technical process for a proposed 1,500 MW hydro power project in Chamba's Jyuri, utilizing water from the Bhaga river in Lahaul-Spiti. Soil samples have been sent for testing to design the 10-km tunnel and powerhouse infrastructure, officials confirmed.
