India’s Drug Regulator Flags 159 Medicine Samples as Substandard in May Surveillance
The Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) has flagged 159 medicine samples as 'Not of Standard Quality' (NSQ) during its routine monthly surveillance in May. The apex drug regulator also identified one spurious drug sample in Assam manufactured by an unauthorized entity, sparking an official investigation.
