Severe Heatwave Intensifies Across North and Central India; Delhi on Orange Alert

Heatwave conditions are set to worsen in northwest and central India this week, with temperatures rising further. The India Meteorological Department has issued warnings for several states, including an orange alert for Delhi where the mercury may touch 45°C. Monsoon onset is expected around May 26 in Kerala.
