Sewage Leak From Industrial Area Suspected in Mandi Fish Deaths; Pollution Board Issues Notice

The Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board has issued a show-cause notice to the Mandi District Industries Centre following large-scale fish mortality in the Ratti stream. A joint inspection revealed that a damaged pipeline was discharging untreated sewage from a nearby industrial area directly into the water body.
