Union Minister George Kurian Resigns After Rajya Sabha Term Ends

Veteran BJP leader George Kurian has resigned from the Union Cabinet following the completion of his six-year Rajya Sabha tenure. President Droupadi Murmu accepted his resignation on the advice of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the party decided not to renominate the 65-year-old leader to the Upper House.
