Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh has received a national award for the effective implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Expressing happiness over the achievement, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav described it as a major milestone for the state’s healthcare system.
CM Yadav said the recognition is a result of the hard work put in by the state government, the health department, and the officials associated with Ayushman Bharat Niramayam Madhya Pradesh. He congratulated Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, the entire health department team, and everyone involved in the successful operation of the scheme.
The Chief Minister noted that public welfare schemes in the health sector are being run across the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said Madhya Pradesh has implemented these schemes effectively, bringing positive results at the national level. The CM added that the award reflects the trust of lakhs of beneficiaries who are accessing healthcare services through the scheme.
The award was presented by the National Health Authority (NHA) during a national review meeting and ‘Chintan Shivir’ held in New Delhi. Madhya Pradesh won the national award in the “Best Performing Large State – Highest Pre-Authorizations with Biometric Authentication” category under the scheme. The recognition highlights the state’s superior performance in beneficiary identification and treatment pre-authorization processes.
Members of the state Cabinet also expressed their delight over the recognition and extended their best wishes to the health department team. The state government stated that this achievement will serve as an inspiration to further strengthen healthcare services in the future.
