PM National Children Award 2026: The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the last date for submitting online nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2026 from July 31 to August 15.
According to official information released by the ministry on Friday, the nomination process has been active since April 1 through the official National Awards Portal. Eligible candidates, self-nominating children, and individual citizens recommending deserving candidates can submit their entries exclusively online via the portal.
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is conferred upon children who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in fields such as bravery, social service, environment, sports, art and culture, and science and technology.
To be eligible for the award, applicants must be Indian citizens residing in India, with an age above 5 years and under 18 years as of July 31, 2026.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development has urged all eligible children and citizens to submit their nominations on the National Awards Portal before the extended deadline of August 15.
