KTM 390 Adventure Launched in India: Two-wheeler manufacturer KTM India has officially introduced visual updates for its popular adventure motorcycle, the KTM 390 Adventure, in the Indian market. The bike now comes in two fresh dual-tone color options: ‘Arctic Flare‘ and ‘Ebony Black’.
The motorcycle has been launched at a starting price of Rs 2,87,802 (ex-showroom). In a welcome move for buyers, KTM has introduced these updated color variants without any price hike, maintaining parity with the existing model’s pricing. Speculation regarding the launch had been building after the new variants were recently spotted at a dealer yard, and the company has now made them officially available for purchase.
Design and Graphics Refresh
Both new colorways feature a distinct dual-tone finish. The ‘Arctic Flare’ shade pairs a bright white finish on the front fairing and front beak with KTM’s signature orange paint scheme on the tail section. Meanwhile, the ‘Ebony Black’ variant presents a premium and aggressive combination of gray and black shades.
Beyond the new paint schemes, the most noticeable design updates are the bold, enlarged graphics across the bodywork. Compared to the previous color options, both ‘Arctic Flare’ and ‘Ebony Black’ feature larger, sharper graphics. Prominent ‘KTM’ and ‘Adventure 390’ branding on the side body panels gives the motorcycle a sportier, more prominent stance on the road.
Engine and Performance Specifications
Underneath the fresh visual updates, the mechanical setup of the KTM 390 Adventure remains completely unchanged. The motorcycle continues to be powered by its proven 349.32cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This powerplant produces a maximum power output of 41.5 PS and a peak torque of 33.5 Nm.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. To facilitate smoother gear shifts and enhance long-distance highway touring comfort, a slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter continue to be offered as standard equipment.
Hardware and Electronics Package
KTM has retained the complete hardware and equipment setup on the updated 390 Adventure. The motorcycle rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel setup. Fitted with alloy wheels and tubeless tires, the configuration offers reliable grip and safety across both on-road and off-road riding conditions.
The motorcycle also retains its full suite of advanced features, including a full-color TFT instrument console, cruise control, and a comprehensive electronic rider aids package designed to maintain rider control across varied terrains.
