Supreme Court Refuses Stay on UPI MDR Above ₹2,000

The Supreme Court has refused to stay the Centre’s proposed Merchant Discount Rate on specified UPI merchant transactions above ₹2,000. The framework is scheduled to take effect from October 15 and has been challenged through a PIL filed by advocate Anjan Datta.
