Solan Gets First Women-Run Tomato Processing Unit at Salogra to Curb Crop Wastage

Under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission, the Rs 39-lakh facility at Salogra in Solan district will process surplus produce into puree and ketchup, offering local tomato growers protection against distress sales while creating rural employment opportunities for women.
