Centre May Bill to Curb Digital Arrests, AI Deepfakes
The Central government is likely to introduce a new bill in Parliament to make 'digital arrest' and AI-generated deepfakes distinct criminal offences. The Supreme Court was informed about the move during a hearing on rising cyber fraud cases across the country.
