SEBI Proposes New Mutual Fund-PMS Category, Lowers Entry Bar to ₹25 Lakh

The Securities and Exchange Board of India has proposed a Mutual Fund-Portfolio Management Services (MF-PMS) category. The framework reduces the minimum investment threshold to ₹25 lakh, lowers capital requirements for managers, and eases compliance to widen access for mass-affluent investors.
