Vivo S2 Price in India: Vivo is gearing up to expand its smartphone portfolio in India with the official launch of the Vivo S2 scheduled for August 6. Ahead of the debut, the company disclosed major hardware specifications, colour options, and display features via a newsroom post. Once launched, the smartphone will be sold through Vivo India’s official website and e-commerce platform Amazon.
Design, Display, and Performance
The Vivo S2 will be available in three colour variants: Regal Bronze, Sapphire Blue, and Silk White. The device features a sleek 7.99mm profile and sports a 6.83-inch 3D curved AMOLED display offering a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 93.82 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The panel supports a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, a pixel density of 449ppi, and holds SGS Low Blue Light alongside SGS Five-Star Sunlight Readable Display certifications.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor, which the company claims achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of 9,70,000. On the software side, the device runs on OriginOS 6 and introduces features like Shake and Share, allowing users to transfer photos and videos between compatible devices with a simple shake motion. It also includes AI tools such as AI Creation, AI Transcript Assist, and Circle to Search 2.0.
Camera and Battery Details
For photography, the Vivo S2 features a dual rear camera setup headed by a 50-megapixel primary sensor utilizing a Sony IMX852 lens. On the front, it houses a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. Both front and rear camera setups support 4K video recording. The smartphone is equipped with symmetrical dual speakers for audio playback.
