Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan frequently connects with his audience through his personal blog, offering glimpses into his life and philosophy. In his latest post, the veteran star turned nostalgic, reflecting on the profound influence of his late mother, Teji Bachchan, on his outlook toward life’s hurdles.
Bachchan observed that individuals often expend excessive energy and time worrying over minor problems, failing to realize that many issues require only simple adjustments and consistency. According to the actor, the most effective solutions are frequently found in practical, everyday wisdom rather than complex strategies.
While contemplating these life lessons, Bachchan became visibly emotional, recalling the solace he found in his mother’s presence. He recounted how, during moments of distress, his mother would offer a comforting touch and reassure him with the simple, heartfelt phrase, “Sab theek ho jayega beta” (Everything will be alright, son).
Even years after her passing, Bachchan noted that recalling these memories provides him with an enduring sense of peace and reassurance.
This is not the first time the actor has paid homage to his mother’s legacy. He has previously spoken about the immense sacrifices Teji Bachchan made to support his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, allowing him to flourish as a poet and thinker. Furthermore, she was instrumental in introducing Amitabh to the worlds of theater, cinema, and music.
Sharing anecdotes from his childhood, Bachchan mentioned how his mother celebrated his accomplishments with great pride. Whether it was success in school sports or other achievements, she would capture the moments in photographs and display his trophies in her room, cherishing every milestone.
Teji Bachchan, born on August 12, 1914, was a social activist and a psychology teacher. Though she passed away on December 21, 2007, the values and affection she instilled continue to remain central to the life and memories of Amitabh Bachchan.
