OnePlus Nord CE 6 launch date in India: OnePlus is all set to expand its Nord portfolio in India with the launch of the Nord CE 6 and Nord CE 6 Lite on May 7 at 12 noon. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has confirmed several key specifications of both devices, revealing significant upgrades over their predecessors.

The Nord CE 6 will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3200Hz touch sampling rate. Durability gets a substantial boost with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification alongside IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance. The device will also sport a dual speaker setup with support for 300 percent volume boost.

On the performance front, the handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor paired with a dedicated Touch Reflex chip. It packs a massive 8,000mAh battery supported by 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging. For optics, the phone houses a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a 32MP front-facing shooter with autofocus. Both cameras support 4K video recording. Colour options include Fresh Blue, Lunar Pearl, and Pitch Black.

The more affordable Nord CE 6 Lite comes equipped with a 6.72-inch Full HD display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate. It also receives MIL-STD-810H certification, though IP ratings remain unconfirmed. Under the hood, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Apex SoC with UFS 3.1 storage and a 5,300 mm² VC cooling system. It houses a 7,000mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, promising two days of power and six years of battery health. The Lite variant will be available in Vivid Mint and Hyper Black colourways.

Both smartphones run on OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. The Nord CE 6 additionally gets a multi-function Plus key for capturing screenshots and voice recordings directly saved to ‘Mind Space’.

Regarding pricing, industry expectations suggest the Nord CE 6 could move into the sub-₹30,000 segment due to ongoing memory chip shortages, up from the Nord CE 5 launch price of ₹24,999. The CE 6 Lite may similarly see a hike, potentially landing under ₹25,000. Official pricing will be confirmed at the May 7 launch event.
